Saritsa Foundation in Collaboration with Government of Goa (Collective North Goa and Collective South Goa) conducted workshops for Monsoon Awareness and preparedness from 30 May to 20 June 2011.for the people of 12 Talukas (12 Sub Division of the District which included 1800 fishermen women, repetitive of village panchayats and Nagar parishads (Local Village Body and Municipality, people in local Government, Members of NGOs and School Children. It is one the good examples where Disasters Management process was made people centered and people owned. The workshops at various Talukas were inaugurated by honorable chief Minister Shri. Digambar Kamat, Shri. Ravi Naik honorable Minister of home, Shri. Pratap Singh Rane, speaker  Goa Assembly and Shri.  Frances Dsouza Minister of Revenue which shows commitment of the people in local in the State Government. Some of the Photos given below:-
